Emergency Pet First Aid Kits

In a typical year, Harrison Memorial treats over 13,000 animals and performs over 20,000 major procedures, an average of up to 45 per day.  Our veterinarians and support staff provide a wide range of high-quality service in Harrison Memorial's state-of-the-art facility located in west Denver.  The hospital and its programs are fully accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association at the four-year level, the highest ranking given by this prestigious organization.

Providing affordable veterinary services to low and fixed income pet owners is a major part of Harrison Memorial's mission.  As anyone with a pet knows, obtaining professional care for a sick or injured animal can easily run into the hundreds or even thousands of dollars.  Many of our clients live at or below poverty level, many seniors living on a fixed income, people living with disabilities, or other pet owners with little discretionary income for veterinary care.  The people who come to Harrison Memorial usually have nowhere else to go for veterinary care for their beloved pet.

Services offered at Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital

Spay and Neuter Clinic

Since 1976 Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital has been spaying and neutering the animals of the Denver metro area.  We perform in excess of 6,900 spay or neuter procedures each year to help in the reduction of pet overpopulation.  In conjunction with other Denver and Front Range organizations, Harrison Memorial has helped reduce the pet overpopulation numbers.

Our dedicated team of highly-skilled Veterinarians and Technicians perform these low cost, high-quality procedures.  We offer a complete pain management protocol to ensure that your pet is comfortable during the recovery from their surgery, and we follow up with clients to address any concerns or questions they may have during their first few days home.  We also have a full array of additional services that we can provide to your pet while they are having their procedure performed.

For information on having your pet spayed or neutered, please contact at us

An important part of Harrison Memorial's mission is to help control pet overpopluation.  In support of this mission, it is Harrison Memorial's policy that all animals treated in the hospital be spayed or neutered.  Therfore, owners of previously unaltered animals must agree to have their pet spayed or neutered in order to be treated at Harrison Memorial.
